Content is the life-blood of an online business. By creating and publishing content, you open a path for your potential customers and clients to find you.

One of the best ways to make your content work hard for you is to “re-position” it across several platforms and media types. For example, you could have a blog post at your main website, but don’t just stop there! Re-create the text as video and put the blog post on Youtube. Write some catchy headlines and post them on social media with hashtags and link back to your blog post. Take an image from the video and put it on image-rich social sites such as Instagram and Pinterest. Re-write the first paragraph and place it on some blogging platforms such as WordPress.com.

By re-positioning content, you’ll gain much greater exposure as well as create multiple items for the search engines to index and more backlinks. It’s a virtuous circle!
